Exploring Shrewsbury and the surrounding area
Whilst the atmosphere at Beaconsfield Farm creates the perfect place to relax and unwind, we hope that you will take the opportunity to go and visit some of the local towns and explore the beautiful countryside.

If you enjoy walking, the ‘Shropshire Way’ passes by the park, or perhaps a visit to Shrewsbury, just a couple of miles away with it’s wealth of historic buildings, museums and shopping centre. There is also the famous ‘Quarry’, a delightful park with the Dingle as it’s magnificent centrepiece, where you can sit and relax in these beautiful gardens.

Within a short drive, you can visit the Long Mynd at Church Stretton, the Roman City at Wroxeter, Attingham Park, Ironbridge Gorge Museum or one of the endless castles or abbeys.

Shropshire boasts some of the most beautiful scenery in the country, but if you feel like going a little further afield, in half an hour, you can be across the Welsh Border, and in another hour's drive, at the Welsh coast.
